ATP Takeaway: The transportation programs and amenities our Champions implemented this year has benefited the quality of life in Arlington in many ways. We'll be celebrating your efforts at our Champions 2016 Banquet in February!

Champions has officially wrapped up for 2016, and ATP couldn’t be more proud of all the great work that all of our partners have achieved.

Congratulations to the 221 employers, multi-family residential communities and commercial properties that participated this year. Their commitment to providing sustainable transportation options has a significant impact on the quality of life in Arlington by reducing traffic and making it easier to get around.

While the criteria for Champions was slightly more challenging for each of ATP’s programs in 2016, our partners were up to the task and successfully implemented various programs including new bike parking, transit benefits, commute surveys, bike tune ups, bikeshare and carshare memberships and vanpool formation.

Regardless of the level achieved, Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum – 2016’s participants represent the best of the best in Arlington’s business community when it comes to transportation and promoting travel choices among employees, residents and visitors.

2016 Champions will be recognized at our annual awards breakfast ceremony at the Key Bridge Marriott in Rosslyn. The event will feature a keynote speaker, Dr. Gridlock from The Washington Post, as well as highlights and achievements from the past year. Be on the lookout for your invitation!

We look forward to kicking off Champions 2017 in late February and are excited to see our partners continue all the great work they’ve accomplished so far!

Not a Champion but think you might have what it takes? Check out the criteria and drop us a line! We would love to hear from you.
