Maggie and Alli

We are excited to introduce two new members of the ATP team!

Alli Henry is ATP’s new Business Development Manager for Residential Services, and will be assisting multi-family residential properties in Arlington with implementing transportation amenities and programs for residents.

Maggie Awad has taken on the role of Marketing Manager for ATP, and will have an integral role in managing our outreach campaigns, client communications, and online presence, including our website and social media outlets.

To get to know Alli and Maggie a little better, we asked them a few questions – and they gave some pretty awesome answers. Check them out below!

Alli Henry

Hometown: I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania. Home of beautiful Lake Erie, Presque Isle State Park and pepperoni balls!

Where do you live: I’m a proud Arlingtonian living in the Courthouse-Clarendon neighborhood!

Previous work experience: I spent the last 5 years working at a community outreach firm specializing in multimodal transportation and land use. I’m looking forward to joining ATP’s team and focusing my efforts here in Arlington.

Most recent vacation: I recently visited the lovely city of New Orleans. Can’t go wrong with good eats, live music and streetcars!

Favorite happy hour spot: I’m a fan of Galaxy Hut and EatBar.

Favorite restaurant: I could live on Toki Underground…the curry chicken ramen is amazinggg.

Favorite band: The National

How do you get to work, and what’s the best part about your commute? I like to mix-up my commute with a combo of bus action and walking. I’m loving the freedom of leaving my car behind and getting more exercise. Adiós I-66!

Maggie Awad

Hometown: I’m originally from Newton, North Carolina. It’s a small town best known for textiles and NASCAR. I’m not into NASCAR, but I do love socks.

Where do you live: I live on Columbia Pike – home of Bob & Edith’s and those amazing burritos outside of CVS. Don’t judge.

Previous work experience: Before ATP, I worked as a marketing manager for a teen social networking site. ATP is a complete 180, but a truly welcome change.

Most recent vacation: I was most recently in Wilmington, North Carolina to visit my family. My eldest sister just had a baby boy and my 2nd sister was visiting from England with her 2 munchkins. I’m the proud auntie of 5 adorable trouble-makers.

Favorite happy hour spot: Anywhere with a decent wine selection!

Favorite restaurant: Farmers Fishers Bakers in Georgetown

Favorite band: The Killers

How do you get to work, and what’s the best part about your commute? I take the ART bus. Since my commute is only 20 minutes, I like to catch up on my gmail or people watch. But let’s be honest, I’m usually people watching. I try not to have my face in my phone 24/7.
