ATP TAKEAWAY: If your building is looking for additional recognition opportunities to help boast all its great amenities, check out our Property & Development Champions.

ATP is excited to welcome its most recent Gold Level Champion, Ballston Point. This property, located in Ballston at the intersection of N Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard, is an 11 story office tower owned and managed by Monument Realty. The award-winning, mixed-use property features 240,000 square feet of Class A office space as well as additional 20,000 square feet of retail space. Completed in 2004, Ballston Point has shown a commitment to tenant satisfaction, sustainable Ballston Point, Arlington, VA transportation and community engagement through its various amenities and programs.

Ideally located just two blocks from the Ballston Metro Station and adjacent to the Ballston Mall, Ballston Point is surrounded by numerous transportation options and features an incredible WalkScore of 96. Over 20 different bus routes stop within a quarter mile of the building, including six ART bus routes connecting riders to destinations such as the Pentagon, Virginia Hospital Center and Shirlington. In addition, there is a Capital Bikeshare station one block away from the building and the neighborhood of Ballston features bike lanes on main thoroughfares including Wilson Blvd and N Fairfax Drive.

Ballston Point has also enhanced its amenities within the building to encourage tenants’ employees to take advantage of all the nearby transportation options. These include:

  • Secure bike cage for tenant use that was recently cleaned and restored
  • Shower and locker facilities for bike commuters
  • Discounted parking for carpools
  • Free parking for vanpools
  • Free brochures, maps and transportation information in the lobby
  • Earth Day lobby tenant event
  • Promotion and participation in local community events such as National Walk@Lunch Day and Bike to Work Day

Despite the challenging office market in Arlington and Northern Virginia, Ballston Point has remained successful over the years in attracting and retaining tenants, and continues to see the benefits of sustainable commute options for tenants.
