With the continuing expansion of CaBi throughout Arlington, D.C., Alexandria, and Montgomery County, people clearly saw the value in purchasing a discounted annual membership! Capital Bikeshare is a great way to get to your nearest Metro station or bus stop more quickly, explore the region via trails and bike lanes, or get a bit of exercise on your commute.
This discount was limited to Arlington County residents who had not owned an annual membership yet. To make the deal even better, participants were also able to request a free Capital Bikeshare branded helmet if they needed one – a ton of new members took advantage of this offer as well.
ATP worked with residential property managers throughout the county to help spread the word about the Capital Bikeshare deal to residents. The two residential property managers who were able to get the most people to sign up for and redeem discount codes were awarded brand new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite e-readers! The winners this time around were Jenna Franks, property manager of Garfield Park in Clarendon, and Jared Bailey, property manager of Bennett Park Apartments in Rosslyn. Congratulations to the two of them!
This promotion was a new venture for ATP but we hope to work with Capital Bikeshare again in the future to offer a similar deal. Keep in touch via social media and our blog so you can find out about the next promotion!
