ATP TAKEAWAY: Capital Bikeshare Expansion Plan guides the growth of Capital Bikeshare over the next six years and includes information about future locations of bikeshare stations in the county. If you haven't yet, we invite you to review the plan on Bike Arlington's website and post your comments on the comment page.

As we mentioned in a blog post about a month ago, we're very excited about the draft final Capital Bikeshare Expansion Plan for Arlington! The plan guides the growth of Capital Bikeshare over the next six years and includes information about future locations of bikeshare stations in the county. The comment period earlier this Spring was vital to the development of the draft plan and led to the recommendation of expanding Capital Bikeshare outside of the Rosslyn-Ballston and Crystal City-Pentagon City corridors.

Since the release of the draft final plan, we opened up a second comment period and had a great turnout at the public meeting that was held two weeks ago. Don't worry if you missed the meeting though, you can still share your thoughts online through this Friday, June 27! If you haven't yet, we invite you to review the plan on Bike Arlington's website and post your comments on the comment page. This is a great opportunity to learn more and contribute to the future of Capital Bikeshare in Arlington!
