About Champions
ATP founded the Champions program in 2014 with the support of Transportation Resources for Arlington County (TRAC). Over its lifetime, the program has recognized more than 550 unique participants who have introduced over 3,850 sustainable transportation benefits and initiatives. Now entering its twelfth year, Champions continues to evolve as we welcome new and returning participants in 2026 and assist with setting and reaching ambitious goals.
In 2025, ATP recognized 177 Arlington businesses and properties for the 306 transportation initiatives implemented and maintained across the entire program. Of these 177 champions, 107 have participated in the program for 5 or more years.
