Car Free Day, on September 22, is a day to celebrate reducing your carbon footprint and promoting a more sustainable environment. By pledging to go car free for the day, you earn a chance to win some wonderful prizes.
Reasons to Join Car Free Day
We all like to enjoy a stress-free commute. As hard as it might be to give up the car every day, why not start with just one day? There are several transportation modes in the area that offer a lot of benefits including reading the book that’s been collecting dust on your nightstand while you ride the Metro, enjoying the views of the city while riding a bus, or walking or riding your bike to take a mental break in between meetings.
