ATP TAKEAWAY: If you'd like to learn more about how your company can offer even more benefits to your employees, email us at solutions@transpartners.com. You and your employees will reap the rewards!

Hurrah to our 2014 Champions! We have enjoyed working with all 122 Champions and we look forward to celebrating their successes at our upcoming Champions Ceremony on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.

The big day is fast approaching (only 20 days now!) and there’s nothing we love more than highlighting some of our most inspiring Champions, like The Nature Conservancy.

Located in Ballston, The Nature Conservancy, is a Gold Level Champion who continues to work hard in promoting health and wellness programs as they encourage their employees to use alternative transportation. Employees who chose to ride public transit (ART/Metrobus or Metro) receive a pre-tax transit benefit; employees who choose to bike are eligible for a bike benefit instead! Flex time and compressed work weeks are just a few additional benefits The Nature Conservancy offers their employees to ease the stress of a daily commute.

Being a long term partner of Arlington Transportation Partners, The Nature Conservancy is a dedicated pit stop for National Walk@Lunch Day and even participated in our Champions pilot program launched in 2013. They are also a shining example of a Bicycle Friendly Business, proving bike racks, lockers and shower facility for all employees who choose to bike to work. On top of earning this national designation, The Nature Conservancy participate in the annual Bike to Work Day event.

Regina Jackson, Director, Office Services truly believes in the benefits of great health and wellness programs and promotes that by encouraging employees to walk/bike more.  Their brochure display unit is always stocked with bike maps, Walkabout brochures and various bus routes making it easy for their employees to get around Arlington County.

Watch the video below and you can see how our Gold Level Champion, The Nature Conservancy, is making a difference in Arlington County. Careful though, we’ll just go ahead and warn you that Regina’s positive attitude towards wellness and health is contagious!

Thank you to Regina and to The Nature Conservancy for all your hard work in 2014. We look forward to an even brighter and healthier 2015!

Champions 2015

Even though Champions 2014 has come to a close, ATP is already looking to honor even more Champions in 2015! Champions is a 1-year program with an informal re-enrollment process. Simply put, your rep will contact you to confirm you’d like to participate again. Gold Level companies like The Nature Conservancy, will simply continue to receive their earned recognition and invitations to special Champion events as we move into 2015.

For new businesses, residential communities and commercial properties interested in joining Champions, just email solutions@transpartners.com.
