Champions is officially in its sophomore year as an Arlington County program that rewards and recognizes Employers, Residential Communities and Commercial Properties. It's easy for team ATP to understand the affect our program has on the community, but it's important that YOU see how Champions has helped shape and grow transportation initiatives for local companies and their employees.
To help share the positivity of Champions, ATP has been working on a few case studies. We started with a few stand-out Champions in Crystal City and plan to move our way through the Urban Villages. The companies chosen for the case studies not only exemplify what it means to be a Champion, but also have a great story to tell - not just from the standpoint of transportation programs, but from an individual's perspective.
In addition to the individual highlight, each case study also works to show the impact on Arlington County. It was important to us to pick a variety of Champions (ranging in industry and employee counts), to better showcase that Champions come in all shapes and sizes. Check out our current case study collection:
- American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS)
(PDF, 170 KB, Adobe Reader required)- Non-Profit, 12 staff
- MTB Early Enrichment Center
(PDF, 172 KB, Adobe Reader required)- Education, 18 staff
- Public Broadcasting Service (PBS)
(PDF, 169 KB, Adobe Reader required)- Public Television, 440 staff
Throughout the next few months, our team will continue to add even more case studies to share with you and the Arlington community. It is our hope that if you're reading this, and your company is not a Champion, that you'll understand the value and jump at the chance to join Arlington's journey towards a better place to work, live and play.
ATP is currently seeking to welcome and enroll even more Champions in 2015. We are currently celebrating 37 Champions! Is your company next?
