Eco-Friendly Events

With support from BGO, the JLL property management team at Courthouse Tower is consistently engaged in organizing their next great tenant event. Throughout the Champions 2024 program, the JLL property managers promoted Bike to Work Day, Car Free Day, and BikeArlington’s E-Bike Experience, ensuring tenants were well-informed and encouraged to join in community-wide commuting events.

Additionally, Courthouse Tower hosts custom events for tenants throughout the year. This year, ATP attended their annual Earth Day celebration to advocate for sustainable transportation options, like biking, walking, and taking transit. ATP also coordinated a Bike Tune-Up event at the property to provide bike commuters with a safety check and resources, including BikeArlington’s updated Comfort Map, and essential safety equipment, like a Capital Bikeshare helmet!

The JLL property managers at 1515 N. Courthouse Road also showed their appreciation for expanding their own knowledge to be a resource for transportation information on-site by attending ATP’s webinar on staying current with transportation developments in Arlington.

Commuter Conveniences

Courthouse Tower proudly hosts many amenities for all kinds of commuters there is no shortage of tools to help tenants commute with ease. The property has a Transportation Information Display (TID) screen that provides both building and tenant employees with information on nearby transportation options. The fitness center serves as a convenient pit-stop for active commuters to freshen up before heading up to the office.

Housed in the garage out of the elements, the secure bike room has a variety of amenities. There are plenty of spaces for employees to lock up their bikes and even instructions on the wall showing a first-time user how to properly utilize the racks. In addition, a fix-it station with a multitude of tools and an air-pump is available to easily adjust gear and lighten the commuter’s load.

The latest enhancement to the bike room is the property’s very own e-charger locker. Employees with e-bikes or e-scooters can now plug in their batteries safely and securely so they return to a full charge for their ride home. By enhancing Courthouse Tower’s amenities with e-chargers, BGO demonstrates its commitment to providing resources that make sustainable commuting a more reliable and attractive option.

Distinguished Designation

In collaboration with ATP, the JLL property management at Courthouse Tower applied for a Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) designation. Any organization can apply for BFB status; ATP is happy to support your application and walk you through the steps. The application highlighted many of the events held throughout the year, as well as the amenities available to commuters in the building.
